The Kenneth Williams Diaries - 1951 to 1954
The diaries that I have viewed (to date) are from the years 1951 to 1954. Kenneth would have been 25 years old in 1951 & so the contents are a great contrast to his later diaries after he had found 'fame' & he had become well embedded into the world of showbusiness. The following is taken 'verbatim' from the diaries & is an account of his daily life, moods, thoughts & movements in those early years. I have also included, where available, any other information that he included within the diaries. Some entries are very vague & brief, others very detailed. Kenneth also made various notes to the front & rear of the diaries:
